Delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the conference in Brussels

DVV International, the European Association for Adult Education (EAEA) and the European Training Foundation (ETF) organized the conference "On the Way towards EU Integration: Countries of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe Shaping Lifelong Learning Systems" in Brussels. The aim of the conference is to review the state of convergence of the system of adult education and lifelong learning with the best policies, trends and practices of EU member states.

DVV International, the European Association for Adult Education (EAEA) and the European Training Foundation (ETF) organized the conference "On the Way towards EU Integration: Countries of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe Shaping Lifelong Learning Systems" in Brussels. The aim of the conference is to review the state of convergence of the system of adult education and lifelong learning with the best policies, trends and practices of EU member states. Perspectives for the further development of the sector were presented and discussed with interested parties in the EU. The event provided an opportunity for politicians, civil servants and civil society representatives to discuss progress, approaches, frameworks and recommendations in the adult education sector and thus identify priority areas for further cooperation with the European Union, its organizations and international partners.

Today's one-day event was organized in the form of plenary sessions with the input of representatives of ministries of education, adult education agencies and civil society (national adult education associations, platforms and networks). They were joined by experts from the European Association for Adult Education, the European Training Foundation, DVV International and representatives of the European Commission. This event served as a communication platform for participants from Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova and Ukraine and provided an opportunity for professional exchange on achievements and challenges in the process of converging adult education and lifelong learning systems with EU best practices.

in behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina conference was attended by the director of DVV International – Country Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina Dženita Džano, expert advisor for secondary vocational education and adult education of Sarajevo Canton - Olivera Hasković, project manager and internal quality manager of CPCD Adnan Mević. ETF's invitation was received by Professor of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo Amina Isanović - Hadžiomerović and Professor of the Faculty of Economics UNSA Ljiljan Veselinović.
