After recognizing the need for the transformation of secondary vocational education programs into adult education programs, DVV International – Country Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Youth, Science, Culture and Sports and the Pedagogical Institute of BPK Goražde, realized a workshop called "Creation of the curriculum for the professions "Metal cutter by cutting" (MCW) and "Computer and IT electrical technician" (CIET)". This initiative stems from a commitment to creating inclusive and accessible education for all. The expert team consisted of six professors who worked on the development of the aforementioned curricula for adult education. During the three days of the workshop, the participants went through the following areas:
- Principles of adult learning;
- Circle of quality in vocational education of adults;
- Job analysis methods - the first step in curriculum development;
- Job analysis – MCW and CIET;
- Different methodologies of curriculum development and definition of learning modules;
- Curriculum development – MCW and CIET.
The workshop was led by Jelena Jakovljević, graduate in andragogy, program director at the Klett Edu training center and visiting professor at the andragogy department of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.
In the coming period, the finalization of the curriculum is planned, which will be mentored by trainer Jelena Jakovljević until the very end.
